Honeybee Class

Learning Activities

  1. Recognize the basic colors
  2. Recognize the basic geometric shapes
  3. Begin to recognize and count numbers 1 to 10
  4. Recognize first name
  5. Introduction and ongoing exposure to the alphabet
  6. Introduction to a variety of nursery rhymes
  7. Science-seasons and weather
  8. Attention span lengthening activities such as story time and show and tell

Social Development

  1. Health, safety and good manners
  2. Sharing toys and adult attention
  3. Respecting others and their possessions
  4. Developing ability to express emotions appropriately

  6. Perform exercises in visual perception; for example:
    1. Draw lines between like objects
    2. Circle objects not like others
  7. Attention span lengthening through story time, circle time, and show and tell
  8. Introduce a variety of nursery rhymes
  9. Science-seasons and weather

Social Development

  1. Health, safety, and good manners
  2. Learn to share toys, equipment, and adult attention
  3. Share duties and responsibilities; for example:
    1. Pick up toys and supplies
    2. Hang up our own coats
    3. Be responsible for items brought from home for show and tell
