Teachers

  • Nancy Geier

I am Nancy Geier and have been with WTPP for 15 years. I have three children, two of whom are alumni of Pooh!

I attended NOVA and JMU and earned a degree in Special Education and minored in Psychology. I taught three years in the Loudoun County Public Schools, and then worked from home and taught community center classes in order to be home with my children while they were very young. I've spent most of my life in Virginia and now live in Lucketts, VA with my husband John Puckett. I hope you enjoy being part of our WTPP family.

  • Tracey Sopp

My name is Tracey Sopp and I am excited to be an enrichment teacher and teacher substitute at Winnie The Pooh Preschool.

Both of my children attended WTPP and I have been involved with the school as a parent, co-committee chair and substitute teacher.  I enjoy working with children and seeing their faces light up with discovery when they learn something new.

I have a degree in Elementary Education from Miami University in Ohio supplemented by Early Childhood coursework at Parkland College in Illinois.  I was a teacher of young children for seven years before I had kids of my own.  I have been a Girl Scout troop leader for four years.  In my free time, I like to read and work in the garden.

  • Kerin Webb

My name is Kerin Webb and I am thrilled and honored to be teaching at Winnie the Pooh this year.

I have been a parent at WTPP since 2001 and I am proud to say that all of my children are WTPP graduates. I have served many roles at the school including Vice President of Operations, Curriculum Committee Chair and substitute teacher.

I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from George Mason University and continued my graduate level studies there as well, working toward a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction.

After I was married and moved to Ashburn, I taught preschool until my first child was born. When the time came to select a preschool for my children, WTPP was my first and only choice. The opportunity to be a part of their first school experience and the ability to stay current in my field by working aside such outstanding teachers was paramount. WTPP has provided my children and many others a loving, nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment. It is my goal to continue that level of dedication for years to come. I look forward to meeting all of you soon!
